Anyone has any idea what shubab shelome means? I was watching episode 12 of House and that was what House said to Wilson in the end and I’m darn curious to what it means. By the way, stupid of me to forget that script writers were on strike sometime ago and it just ended sometime last week so it means that I won’t be able to watch anymore episodes of House nor CSI anytime soon... which could also explain why there are only 13 episodes for Gossip Girl... Or maybe it is meant to be only 13 episodes. Sigh... I guess I’d better go watch TVB dramas then.

I just finished this book called one more day by Mitch Albom. It’s pretty boring at first but with the knowledge that people cry at the end of the book, I continued reading. The ending was sad. I’d recommend this book to anyone who wishes to cry but can’t find a reason to. After reading this book, you most probably will have a reason to cry. Now I want to read P.S: I love you by I don’t know who because Kaede said that it’s a good book which would make you cry your eyeballs out. I wonder if the library has it since it have the longer versions of Alice in the Wonderland.

Okay, off I go. I'm going to summarize my presentation on the North Korea Nuclear Conflict into one page and try to get my presentation in points for the power point because they're now in paragraph form. Take care everyone!

Hugs To: renaye, Kaede, Mockiller, The-Muffin-Man, and PinkPanther08.

Hmmm
I'm not sure about the shubab part, but shalom is usually a Jewish greeting.

I haven't read a book in a whiel, but there hasn't been a book that was able to make me cry...except Where the Red Fern Grows. That was a sad book... I read it in fourth grade and I don't think I'll forget it in a while.

Shalom means...
Shalom (שָׁלוֹם) is a Hebrew and Jewish word meaning peace, Nothing missing, Nothing broken, wellbeing, and complete[1] [2] [3], and used to mean hello, and goodbye. As it does in English, it can refer to either peace between two entities (especially between man and God or between two countries), or to the well-being, welfare or safety of an individual or a group of individuals. It is also used as a greeting to either say hello or farewell, and is found in many other expressions and names. Its equivalent cognate in Arabic is salaam and sälam in Ethiopian Semitic languages from the Hebrew root shin-lamed-mem (ש.ל.ם).

I think you spelled the first word wrong, so I couldn't find anything on it. :( SORRY!

I'm with muffy. when I read Where the Red Fern Grows in elementary school, I cried. It really hits you, especially when you're a big dog person. I'm glad the writers' strike is over because now I can watch new episodes of my favorite NBC shows =]
