What to do when your best friend is upset because her assignment is crap compared to her other classmates? You cheer her up with things that normally will make her laugh. When she goes “lollllllbooohooosobsobsob”, you try to at least make her smile. So you send her a handwritten message: Smile. She replies you soon after that in Cantonese saying “being forceful will not bring happiness” or something of that sort. When you say it out loud with a laugh, your dad spills his container of nuts and your brother stares at you for a while. Why did I feel obliged to clear the misunderstanding they had about the sentence?

Got some pictures from Sean today, I wish she is back here; at least I have someone to go gallivanting with. If I really am rotting at home, a few bones would probably be seen right now. Gosh I’m craving for all the deserts in the world... Have to pull myself out of bed in the morning for once and get myself a sundae for breakfast, then some cheesecake, and some chocolates. Fattening choice for breakfast but what the heck? As long as I am happy and content, what harm could some fat do? Oh wait... I just realised that I’m craving for sweet stuff!

I just realised that some of my friends are really funny when they blog. I’m so sorry for not visiting some of your blogs lately; I’m just incredibly lazy to click that button on my links although I’m rotting at home. Though, I will still visit you guys, every now and then. Sometimes when I visit blogs of my friends; I ask myself “why aren’t you like so-and-so? Always knows how to strike up a conversation” or “why aren’t you like this fella? Everyone seems to like her although she doesn’t really talk to many people” or even “why you don’t have a good relationship with your brothers like him/her”. After pondering for some while, I decide to not ponder anymore because differences is what makes everyone special in their own way, what makes diversity and what makes life interesting. Being different doesn’t mean it is the end of the world. Still, there are always times when you wonder what it is like to be in someone else’s shoes. I still love my alone times a lot, provided that I have things to fill my time with, and alone time means don’t need to make much decisions and me being less whiny. Gosh I hate being whiny but I can’t help it.

I’m off to make a list of things I want and need to do before I forget and end up remembering them after I start university. Take care!

Awwwww, *hugs* yeah you are right, everyone is different so we should actually be grateful that there are different people in this world or else it will be creepy to have all the same people around :s
Anyway, i like nuttz being nuttz, the one who is not afraid of offending people by her bluntness ><

I think it is normal to be whiney. It is our right as humans...makes us feel a whole lot better by voicing out our frustrations :) And I gotta say...sundaes for breakfast is such a GREAT idea...whoever said u had to eat healthier during breakfast than other times of the day haha.

just remember not to be too whiny. if not u will chase everyone away.
» renaye on 2008-07-09 12:07:28

Whining can get annoying but in some ways it's also healthy. I just think of it as a way to vent..

Whenever my friend is feeling down and whining her head off, i tell her, "If you keep crying, you'll smell like shit." =] And yes, it works. =]

And being different is what makes us awesome!...or is what separates the normal people from the creepers LOL =]
