Lie To Me

This is the latest series that I am hooked on, Lie To Me.

How to describe it? This is like House, only that instead of finding out what's wrong with someone medically, Lightman (sp?) finds out if someone is lying. He's like House in terms of personality.. maybe a little more subtle but there are similarities between both of them. However, expect less disclosure on each characters' personal lives throughout the series, unlike House.

I learn things from watching series and movies and this, I think is one that I can learn a lot from. Not that I want to be a pro at identifying someone who is lying or anything but it'd be fun to actually see the surprise on someone's face when someone finds out that they're lying! Lol. I quite like to surprise people, I don't know why.. I like surprises but I don't like being told that there is a surprise waiting for me. The curiousity doesn't sit right with me.

I know! :( My family isn't perfect either, and I see other families and I really envy them for having a complete one, but I try not to dwell on it so much..

It's just that my life is so dull and .. horrible. I mean, i have to take up so much responsibilities at this age because I have little siblings that aren't even at the of 6 yet. And my highschool is one of the ghetto-est highschools in Canada, while I know people who are attending arts school with celebrities!

I think materials give me some kind of hope. Like if I continuously watch dramas, movies, and TV, I'll eventually believe my life will be like THAT once I reach a certain age. That kinds of kept me going, y'know.. Else I wouldn't be able to survive through highschool.

:/ Yeah, i hope so :( Not like I can change anything anyways. And LOL at the logic thing, Asian family perhaps? It's their thing after all xD;;; Y'know, "be a doctor or I raised you up for nothing and I'll die because my daughter doesn't care about me." The usual.
